Description of the case: Client was charged with felony resisting arrest after an encounter with police. It was reported to police that the Client had been abusive with his children during an argument with his wife. The Client, a long-time Marine, had a Security Clearance and the charges could seriously compromise his future. After negotiation, the DA's Office reduced the charged to misdemeanors making him eligible for admission into California's Military Diversion Program. Our office filed a motion to have the client admitted, which the Court granted. Now, after the Client completes the terms of his diversion, his matter will be dismissed and sealed in its entirety.
